I needed an oil change, I scheduled it, arrived at my scheduled appointment. I was checked in. I waited in the customer lounge until I was notified that my oil change was complete. I paid then left.

We were told when we bought the suv that we would get free oil changes and tire rotations but they wanted to charge 41 dollars for the tire rotation so we didn’t get one. Very disappointed over that!

This is my 8th year McCarthy has been servicing my 2016 Corvette. Service representatives are professional and courteous. Easy to schedule service through on-line website. I extremely like the video the service tech sends me after multi-point inspection is completed.

The team was really great to work with. They made the made the buying experience so easy. They were willing to help with whatever we needed. Scott Emerick was great, he made the process efficient, did a great job of explaining our options and was the best finance individual we have ever worked with. Walter Jones was also great. He was very helpful throughout the process. He knew what we wanted, was able to answer our questions and made the process very efficient, which is what we were looking for.

Oil change was very fast and I appreciate it. I was surprised to see a Digital Document Fee of $3.99 on the bill that I called Jacob on for an explanation. I understand the reason for the dealerships for doing it but don’t thing this cost should be charged to the client. If your business records are not uploaded to the cloud daily you have the wrong business software. This cost seems to be nickel diming your clients. Next time I need service I will be looking for other opportunities to take my Silverado to get an oil change.

The service performed was excellent. However, the wait time was very long.

Good morning, My recent experience with your Service Staff was excellent. My initial Service Advisor, "Ricky", was easy to work with and kept me updated on the repairs. He worked with my Extended Service provider to get them to cover as much as he could. This was really appreciated. After picking up the truck, the "check engine" light came on. I brought the truck back. Ricky had left for the day but was greeted by "Chris." He immediately began helping me. He contacted the Technician who had worked on the truck repairs. With the assistance of another staff member, they found the issue and fixed it right there in the service runway. This enabled me to take my truck home. I really appreciate everyone there who helped out. Thanks, Mike

It took 2.5 hours for an oil change that i had an appointment for. The first 2 oil changes i got there only took 45 minutes. I doubt i return... im way too busy to waste that much time on something simple i can do myself.

Chris was competent and quick to share information and answer questions about our repairs.

Ricky was excellent. He got me checked in for my appointment in less than 5 minutes and kept me apprised of progress throughout the process.

Oil change and tire rotate

Text message asking if they could text me for all needs on my service. Yes I replied and went through the time that I selected on the service site 8am appointment . Was texted back saying that time wouldn’t work, how about 10am, I said sure but will need a loaner since I had meetings, and will flat I’ll drop off 8-8:30, perfect she says. You bet all set up for you. Next day phone call to make sure I would be there the following day. Yes I replied, is my loaner set up. No. You don’t have one for an oil change. I explained the whole thing again. “Hang on a minute, I need to ask you”. “Yea ok we will have one for you”. Show up as stated early, not as early as I said, but 0838 I showed up and asked where my loaner was? I don’t have one for you…. Can’t you wait an hour, no I said I have meetings. At this time it was 0853. Semi rude to me like I was putting him out for a loaner already discussed. My file was created before buying the truck that I would get a loaner each time I have work done. My previous dealership would have one waiting for me. Jump out- jump in loaner and leave. Come back. Jump out of loaner and jump back in my truck and leave. I finally left in a loaner at 0929. 50 minutes to get checked in and leave is horrible. Pick up was a 5-7 minute wait to have them bring my truck up. Not satisfied at all with all the pre-communication that never gets noted or employees don’t look at notes. I don’t like repeating myself to every call text or in person.

Service representative did check in at appointed time, computer scan identified two recalls on the new vehicle, advised the car be left to complete corrections for the day, and notification received that repairs were complete several hours earlier than expected. There were no signs to tell you where to stop your car after entering the garage. There was no person to direct you, either. I sat in my car for 15 minutes before my husband went in and asked about a next step. We were treated as if I had pushed my way into an appointment. I checked online and a time came up for the oil change that afternoon. I was perfectly happy to have the appointment the next week. I chose the time and immediately a young lady called to say that time was taken. This was the 3rd time I have chosen an offered time and it was not available. Please change your internet schedule to update immediately when a time has been taken.

It took a while to get waited on after I got there. When I went to go get in my vehicle which was parked out in the lot. The door was locked so I had to go back in wait for someone to become available to get my keys.

I’m here. They went out of their way to make sure I was able to get the party in my car and get it done in one day.

Oil change was fine, and the advisor was helpful. However, I was disappointed with how the diagnostic process was handled. We already knew there was a minor issue—a small oil leak—and I was told the oil change could be completed same or next day, but the diagnostic appointment was 10 days out. If this had turned out to be a serious issue, that kind of delay would have forced me to take my business elsewhere. As it turns out, the issue was a loose cap. It felt like I was being asked to pay a second diagnostic fee just to confirm something we had already suspected. When I bring a vehicle in for service, it’s because I have a problem and I need it identified and fixed—quickly and thoroughly. My ability to pay for repairs relies on my ability to get to work, which means reliable transportation is not optional. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 20 years, consistently servicing a minimum of five vehicles. If this kind of experience becomes the norm, I’ll have to consider transferring my service elsewhere. I hope that’s not necessary, but something needs to improve.

The service advisor went above and beyond to get a part fixed on my car even though I only had an appointment for an oil change.

It was easy to make the appointment that was most convenient for me. I arrived, someone met me at my car. They handled all the paperwork and told me where I could wait. I was in and out very quickly. Great experience!

I tried to book through the online option. I had a question and the AI bot was awful. I finally found the answer to my question myself, logged off, and back in to avoid the bot. Get rid of it. Service advisor was great. Service was timely. I noticed the “next change” windshield tag was missing as I drove away. I parked and walked back and he told me the machine was broken. Another employee overheard and said there was a machine in someone’s office so he made me one. I think he should have told me there wasn’t a tag before I got in my car so I could have asked how to get one later.

The score reflects an average of service I came for and got + feedback I did not receive. I took my Traverse in on a Saturday (thanks for the accommodations!) to get a recall part installed. I received the part. The invoice I received included a "compete multipoint inspection" which was completed, but nothing was presented to me as being an issue. The next day, I brought it in to my school's auto tech program due to an ongoing grinding sound with the brakes I hadn't had time to address- and they are metal on metal! Both front and right brakes were replaced this week, without anything even mentioned from the service department at the dealership. High school students learned a lot this week :)

The only issue I have is I would rather my truck not be parked outside, on and running, with the windows down and the a/c on high when I come to pick it up

I really appreciate this dealership, especially the service department. I feel the personnel are trustworthy and honest. My only frustration, my issue was not fixed. I elected not to pursue based on cost. I also feel it should have been covered. It has been a problem since we purchased the vehicle, I just had not had it addressed, so more my fault than anything, but still frustrated.

We had looked at a few other dealerships but they could not match the selection available at McCarthy. Our sales rep was knowledgeable and helpful while not being pushy which we very much appreciated.

Things were fine with the advisor. What I am suggesting is that the tech should remove their greasy and dirty gloves before getting back in the customer vehicle. The door, shifter, and steering wheel were filthy.

My overall experiences will be a combination of McCarthy Chevrolet (MC) and McCarthy Moore Chevrolet (MMC). Going back to July 2025 my car was in the shop for 3 weeks. I took it to MMC. It took 3 weeks to perform a diagnostic check on my SUV. I was then left responsible for a $1,000+ rental car fee. I reached out to the service manager and never received a phone call back. They waived a diagnostic fee and a few other things totally less than $300. Moving forward to October I had my car towed to MC. I originally had a service appointment before I towed it but it ended up not being able to drive that far. They diagnosed my car and fixed the same issues that MMC fixed. Plus I had to replace the other injectors on the side the original injector was replaced. When the service guys submitted to warranty they advised that they could only give about $551 toward the repair and I would be responsible for everything that else. My issue is that my lifter was replaced last year where I was having these same similar issues. Now this year is the injections. I feel that my car hasn’t been diagnosed correctly and now I am out of assistance from my warranty company. Also, my car still shakes while it is stopped at a light. I can guarantee my car will end up back in the shop due to it not being properly diagnosed and I will be out of another $1,000+ dollar. Chevy has a known issue with 5.3 engine and has refused to do a recall which is terrible. Customers are paying out of pocket for an issue that started with manufacturer. It is totally sad. Chevy use to be my favorite brand but I see how much it has went down.

Dealership was good to work with, Jordan was very supportive and responsive, thorough in checking out the vehicle, and communicated the status in a timely manner. I am, however, extremely disappointed in the GM corporate decision to not allow Apple CarPlay or Android Auto usage on the main display. This led to having to use a workaround of placing the phone on the steering column to provide navigation until the Telematics unit could be replaced.

Oil change and transmission fluid change went well

I had my transmission replaced through the dealership at the warranty companies request, the dealership only wanted to replace the torque converter. After transmission replacement í had to take my truck back to the dealership because the torque converter was shuttering. My service advisor denied me service because my brakes were squealing and wanted to replace the brakes because it would change their diagnosis. Brakes have nothing to do with a transmission and I’m not paying $1200 for a brake job. I did the brakes myself with rotors and for less than half of the price of what they charge. When the brakes and rotors were supposed to be changed when I bought the truck from them to begin with. Took the truck back to McCarthy after doing the brakes myself, and received two voicemails of my service advisor saying they drove the truck a few times and on the third drive noticed the shutter in the torque converter. Then stated they would need more time because the torque converter shutters but not enough to “show up on their scanner” so they opened a case up to GM. By the end of the week they called me and said they weren’t going to do anything with the truck. So now the truck is in my possession and nothing was done with the torque converter.

I always have a great experience at McCarthy Chevrolet Olathe. They got me in quickly and took care of my car.

Everyone was very friendly. But was told they could not find anything wrong with my truck. After picking it up it was doing the same thing I brought it in for within 5 minutes of picking it up. I'm not sure how 3 people could drive it and not notice both the noise and the feeling my truck was making. I had my dad ride with me and he also immediately noticed it.

90,000 mile maintenance on a truck I bought brand new from McCarthy. I had to wait, better service would eliminate a 4 hour wait. I asked for tire rotation, it was part of my service, and it was not done. I was told there wasn't a lift that could raise my truck. This is not the first time at McCarthy I couldn't get my tires rotated. Mechanics don't like doing it, so they don't. I had questions about a 2026 model truck and plan on trading mine in. I thought there would be some motivation or interest in selling me a new truck, didn't seem to be any. I went to Olathe Ford and ordered a $123,000 F-450 after I left. It will be my first ford in my life, always had nothing but chevys. Very disappointed in both sales and service

I am finding it very hard to continue to pay the up charge of the specific oil that Chevy is making me install in my 2023 Tahoe. They know the crankshaft is bad and now I have to pay to install a specific synthetic oil in my Tahoe every time. It's a complete disgrace on the part of Chevy to make folks pay for something they should fix! Do better Chevy! Fix the crankshaft!!!

We were leaving to go out of town when my dashboard displayed Brake System Failure and other failures. Fortunately we were within a mile of our home. We returned home and I called the dealership and was told to have my truck towed to the dealership. I called a tow service and they came and towed my truck. We loaded the car and proceeded to head out of town. While on our way I received a call from Ricky stating that the truck was at their facility. I explained to him what all the displays were and told him to repair the problem. After we arrived at our hotel I received a call from Ricky stating that the problem was a software issue and was taking care of the problem. When we returned home, we stopped at the dealership and picked up the truck. There was no cost for the repair.

I had a great experience buying a new Silverado. I told Evan McCarthy exactly what I was looking in terms of trim, color and some options and while McCarthy did not have that truck, he promptly found it at another dealer, got the truck to McCarthy and made me a great deal on the price and the trade in. Anthony Riley efficiently did my paperwork and Jamie Harrigan helped me get out the door and then went above and beyond to find a small part that the other dealer had forgotten to install on the bed cover.

My wife was looking at a Trail Blazer and thought it was a Blazer. Jamie politely corrected us and showed us the right Blazer. Which we bought!! We down graded. From a Silverado 2500 to a Blazer. Just what we wanted. Thanks you Jamie for being able to see we were looking at the wrong vehicle and point it out so politely. We are looking forward to picking up our new Blazer this Monday!!!! Hi all, I hope you up your coffee game. It’s a small thing but as I can see, pretty important. There was no coffee available when I took my car in for an oil change. The coffee maker looked pretty beat up as well. When coffe was eventually brewed, there were about 15 people who came out of the woodwork to get it. There were very little add ins like creamer sweeter, stir sticks…etc. the whole area looked kind of a mess. A Kcup type of machine may be a better solution. At least people could brew coffee without waiting for a staff member to do it. There isn’t even complimentary 8oz bottled water. This is standard at most dealerships. It may sound petty but these things go a long way with the customer experience. This probably won’t be read but if it is, you can confirm it by call me at ****. I look forward to your response.
